I have read this fellow's blog for a long time, although I only began commenting on it recently. He impresses me with his good humor, with the very Spartan existence he lives, and how he copes with the circumstances. He's a good man. Thanks for taking a look, Kymber. I think he could use a little help.
I've read his blog for a while as well. Good stuff too. He's our kind of people by and largeSo I'm in communication with him as well.
I figure his readers/friends will pitch in. Collectively, it will help him and won't put anybody out.I saw your wife was looking for some of those socks for him. I'm doing the same.
That's horrible his socks are falling apart. I know insurance never covers for foot related things from my experience. They wouldn't cover my nephew's club foot stuff, I have a special arch support for my foot that I got from my Dad's genetics (not very much of my left ankle), and my Mom that had Polio always had to buy 2 pair of shoes, pay to get 1 shoe built up, and more cost in there.
Joel lost a leg and needs these to help make his artificial leg viable. Not to worry, though. He has friends who will see to this. :-)
